Mandy was raised in Panama and the United States, and has enjoyed living and working in a wide range of communities. She spent the first part of her career developing outdoor and environmental education programs, providing corporate facilitation services to notable metro Detroit-based companies, and operating large camp and conference center facilities. She has specialized in aerial adventure for the past two decades.

Mandy has served on the Executive Board of Directors for ACCT International, is a past President of Michigan Alliance for Environmental & Outdoor Education, and was founding Chair of The Alliance Collaborative. She was the recipient of the inaugural ACCT Community Award in 2016, and currently leads the ACCT Women’s Affinity Group. She is actively engaged in standards development for the ASTM International F24 Committee on Amusement Rides and Devices, with a focus on the F2959 Task Group on Aerial Adventure Courses. She joined the ERi team in 2016, accepted the position of CEO and Co-Owner of ERi in 2018, and has since led the teams who have delivered ERi’s largest and most complex projects.

Mandy specializes in the development of systems and processes that help teams achieve identified goals, and has a talent for navigating permitting and other regulatory processes. Amongst other qualifications held over the years, she was part of the first cohort of professionals approved as ACCT Operation Reviewers, a role that requires a broad and deep range of experience across multiple disciplines including inspection, risk management, training/testing, and general operations and management.

When she’s not keeping her team happy or writing international standards for fun, Mandy enjoys photography, cooking, being a part-time pineapple farmer, and traveling the world in search of adventure and great things to eat.  

Todd was born and raised in Louisville, Kentucky, and has spent many years since working on projects around the globe. Todd’s career in the industry spans over 30 years. He has been an owner of ERi for over 20 years and remains ERi’s majority owner in addition to holding the role of Chief Designer.

Todd has served on the ACCT International Executive Board of Directors, chaired the ACCT Zip Line Canopy Tour Standards writing committee, and has also served on the Professional Ropes Course Association (PRCA) Board of Directors. Todd has designed and built hundreds of products from low ropes courses and suspension bridges, to adventure parks, zip lines, and canopy tours. He led the industry during the big commercial zipline boom, designing and building over half of the zip tours in Hawaii, among other projects.

At heart, Todd is a guest experience designer and is known for his unique and creative structural designs, as well as being an all-around innovator. Todd owns and operates Maui Gold Pineapple, the last remaining pineapple farm on Maui, as well as several other adventure and tourism-based attractions. His insight into what drives successful attractions and his experience with models for ticketing and revenue-generation will ensure that our client’s investments are maximized.

True to his Kentucky roots, Todd remains enthusiastic about the never ending search for the perfect piece of fried chicken.  

Kennerly was born and educated in Australia and holds a master’s degree in Outdoor Education from Griffith University. He began his career in the camping and outdoor education industry in the US, designing, constructing, and implementing challenge course and leadership programs. This led to Kennerly’s formation of California-based Challenge Works, Inc. (est. 1997), a full-service challenge course and zipline company which he successfully sold a few years ago.

Serving in the role of the Chair of the Accreditation & Certification Committee for ACCT International for over a decade, Kennerly ensured compliance and qualification of our international community of professionals, both individuals and companies. He currently serves on the Board of Directors for ACCT and is an ACCT Qualified Professional in the areas of Designer, Installer/Inspector, Trainer/Tester, and Operation Reviewer. His extensive qualifications in all facets of the industry reflects the diversity of his decades of experience and his dedication to quality standards and programs.

Kennerly joined the ERi team in 2021 and his notable projects include managing the SkyBridge Michigan project for ERi. He is currently leading the completion of the design process for ERi’s next two major bridge projects. He is the key contact for many ERi clients, facilitating communication and process.

An avid skier and wine connoisseur who also has the best accent on the team, Kennerly is charged with management of some of the coolest projects around…in our (possibly biased) opinion.

Born and raised in the mountains of North Carolina, Josh comes from a background immersed in materials and making. He holds a degree in Industrial Design from Appalachian State University where he double majored in both product and furniture design concentrations.

Following a series of lucky connections while ERi was on the hunt for a new member of their design team, Josh joined ERi in 2023 and immediately excelled at merging his previous experience with his new path in aerial adventure and attractions design. Josh loves merging his passion for problem solving and his endlessly curious mind into creative solutions and immersive user experiences. He has a flair for taking ideas in unexpected directions, adding fresh eyes and new perspectives to every project.

Josh produces ERi’s photo and video renderings, working with the in-house team, partner companies, and clients to create the full vision of an idea or project. He serves in drafting and technical roles as well, but his first and last passion will always be bringing  ideas to life for others through his work.

While not talking design you can find Josh shaping surfboards, working on visual art, or finding the next place to base his office in order to continue exploring the world.

Licensed in both CA and NV, Ronald is a Professional Mechanical Engineer with 30+ years of experience in the machine design field including the following industries: Theme Park Ride and Show, OEM Recreational and Off-Road Vehicles and On Road Vehicles. Ronald also has successful experience as an Expert Witness. Skills and attributes include extensive and varied mechanical engineering knowledge, master problem solver and precise communicator with outstanding organizational skills. Ronald has taken on large challenges in safety critical vehicle and theme park ride systems that demanded success and delivered in every aspect. Ronald holds several patents and is skilled in developing novel solutions to mechanical engineering challenges.

Niels Damman is a longtime industry professional and resident of the Pacific Northwest. Dutch by birth, Niels entered the challenge course industry in 1998 as an international camp counselor at a YMCA camp in Oregon. Since then, he’s worked for numerous companies in various geographies as a facilitator, trainer, inspector, course manager, reviewer, and has assisted with a number of builds. In 2015, Niels graduated from Florida International University with an MS in Sports and Recreation Management.

Niels has been active in the Association for Challenge Course Technology since 2005, including serving two terms on the Board of Directors, and several years on the Accreditation and Certification Committee. He joined ASTM International in 2014 and has been a member of the F24.61 committee on Adventure Attractions.

Niels currently serves as Chair of the Board of Directors for The Alliance Collaborative (“The Alliance”), a non-profit dedicated to rethinking the challenge course industry by promoting and enabling collaboration amongst individuals, organizations, and companies.

While not working or volunteering, Niels likes spending time with his wife Erin and his kids Liesanna and Jasper. Then, when there’s absolutely nothing else to do, there’s always home maintenance.
