Our direct knowledge brings the design process to the next level, with our team considering the practical details of everything - from efficiency of fabrication, to ease of maintenance, to where to create visual moments worthy of a photo. ERi uses our experience to design for your full lifecycle.

Design Review & Optimization
Fresh eyes can bring a lot to the table, and ERi enjoys helping to refine designs by others. We look at things like materials availability and affordability, construction means and methods applicable to the specific site, guest throughput, and staffing needs. Sometimes a small change in a drawing can save you thousands on a job site. Let us help - we love doing it!

Modifications & Retrofits
Existing attractions age, standards evolve, and guest expectations keep climbing. We assess what you already have and design upgrades that extend service life, improve throughput, or add something entirely new without starting over. We’re candid about what’s worth preserving and what isn’t, and how to handle the entire process in an effective, compliant way to get you back to operating at full speed.

Remediation
This can sometimes be the hardest call a new client makes to us. Their designer made a miscalculation or didn’t take something into consideration, and now the attraction just doesn’t work. It happens more often than you think, and we’re here to help problem-solve alongside you and your team. No lectures about how it got there, just honest evaluation and solution-oriented discussions.

01 / SUBCONTRACTING
Specialty Subcontracting
We center our efforts on where we add value, performing the unusual work that others often shy away from. Your favorite local GC likely doesn’t have a crew with experience in specialty rigging and non-traditional construction in limited-access terrain, but that doesn’t mean they can’t perform the job. We partner with skilled GCs to add the aerial and adventure attraction experience they need to the build team.
02 / METHODS
Design Review & Optimization
Design problems do not always show up on paper, but always in the field. We have spent decades fabricating and building these structures, so we can identify early when something will add time, money or headaches and propose solutions. We also review third-party designs before ground breaks, catching constructability and standards issues while they’re still cheap to fix.
03 / SOURCING
Sourcing & Procurement
Aerial adventure projects can require specialty items that can have long lead times, and sometimes are just really hard to find. ERi can help you get what you need, while improving time and cost-efficiency. Also, there can be real quality differences that are known to those within the industry, but that don’t show up in a spec sheet. We’ll help get you quality materials and equipment, including all certs and info required.
04 / FABRICATION
Fabrication
Some things can’t be bought off the shelf. And sometimes the off the shelf component isn’t the best solution. ERi also designs and fabricates custom components and one-off structural assemblies. Creating our own components gives us control over tolerance, finish, lead time, ease of field installation, and lets us solve (or avoid) problems that catalog parts simply can’t. Let us help you make beautiful, functional parts.

Drawing on hands-on design, construction, inspection, and operational experience, our team delivers analysis and expert testimony for all types of disputes. Our team is excellent at identifying the root causes of incidents, and also in explaining them in ways that enables everyone’s understanding.

01 / COMPLIANCE
Aerial Adventure Compliance
ERi provides independent, third-party inspections for aerial adventure attractions, canopy tours, zip lines, and challenge courses. Our certified inspectors evaluate your course elements, PPE, and supporting documentation against ANSI/ACCT or ASTM F2959. Whether you need an annual inspection, or one for acceptance or major modification, our team delivers a clear and actionable report in a timely manner.
02 / POST-INCIDENT
Post-Incident Inspection
When an incident occurs on your course, you need clear understanding of what happened. ERi provides an independent, objective evaluation of the equipment, structure, and systems involved, along with the operational and procedural context surrounding the event. We document conditions as found, resulting in a factual report that supports your return-to-service decision and informs any corrective action.
03 / OPERATIONS
Operational Review
Beyond the physical course, safety and success depend on how a program is operated day to day. ERi's operational reviews and operational audits evaluate your policies, procedures, staffing, training, and risk management practices against the ANSI/ACCT or ASTM F24 standards, and industry best practice, providing you an honest, outside perspective on where your program stands. For operations pursuing ACCT Operation Accreditation, we can also support your preparation with a pre-review consultation.
Training Offerings
01 / MANAGEMENT
Operations & Management
Managing an operation is a different job than running a zipline, and most of it happens out of a harness and behind a desk. This training is for the people managing the staffing, the procedures, the training, and the phone call when something goes sideways. This training is built around ASTM F770, the ANSI/ACCT Operations Standard, and major requirements of common Authorities Having Jurisdiction (AHJs).
02 / OPERATOR
Aerial Adventure Operator
Your operators are the largest factor of your guest’s experience. We’ll train them on your course, with your gear, and using your procedures. Our trainings are never one size fits all, and we do the work to understand your operation in order to deliver the most valuable experience for your team. The curriculum complies with ASTM F2959 and the ANSI/ACCT Training Standard, and is documented for compliance.
03 / TECHNICIAN
Maintenance Technician
Inspection and maintenance isn’t just a third-party role. It’s critical that you understand and are comfortable working on your own course. We'll teach your in-house inspection and maintenance staff daily and periodic inspection, simple remediation, retirement criteria for hardware and PPE, critical numbers and measurements, and how to document findings and actions so third-parties get a clear picture.
