An iconic pedestrian suspension bridge over the Little Conestoga Creek in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. This bridge is designed for public crossing and outdoor education uses as part of Lancaster’s Blue Green Connector. ERi is leading the full design process for this bridge, from the creation of an approved concept. through design development, to a sealed, permit-ready plan set. ERi's scope covers the full bridge design: foundations and anchorages, towers and portal entry features, and the main span and unique deck design. This includes structural engineering and Rough Order of Magnitude (ROM) costing at each stage of design. Work is staged across three milestones with regular client review checkpoints, and includes coordinating with the client’s geotechnical, civil, and survey consultants to deliver a beautiful and thoughtful final design.
