Spanning the park's ravine on main cables made of 1 7/8” bridge strand, the crossing provides an ADA compliant deck on steel towers designed with public trail use in mind. ERi delivered the complete above-ground steel package based on a design by others. This included the towers, deck, railing, anchor plates, wind struts, main cables and the wire-rope hanger, wind-brace, and cable-rail assemblies, as well as all associated hardware. The scope included providing shop drawings, and documentation of mill certifications, weld inspections, etc. per project manual specifications. Everything was shipped directly to the GC at the job site, or was packaged and ready for freight organized by the GC.
